Minister Park of Korea will have a Ministerial Meeting with his Japanese counterpart, exchanging their views on the agenda and discussing bilateral cooperation options to respond to the population issues.

Minister Park said that the International Conference on Population is a good venue to share the seriousness and severity of low fertility and aging society.

“Especially for South Korea and Japan, which are all facing extremely low fertility, it will be highly beneficial to share their experiences with relevant policies in order to improve and supplement them in the near future.”
