◦ No additional confirmed cases have been reported for 59 straight days since July 4.
※ The newly discharged patient is #129 (male, 86) who had been treated in a general ward. He will be put under active monitoring by the public health center in his area of residence for 1 week.
* 7 out of the 8 confirmed cases under treatment tested negative for MERS-CoV and are being treated in general wards.
Currently, 5 cases are in a stable condition while 3 are unstable. The 3 unstable cases are relying on devices such as an artificial respirator or ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) for the maintenance of oxygen saturation.
