* No additional confirmed cases have been reported for the 22nd straight day since July 4.
** Comorbidity: the number of high-risk patients in old age or with underlying medical conditions such as cardio-cerebrovascular disease, cancer and chronic respiratory disease is 33 (91.7%).
*** 11 out of the 12 cases under treatment have tested negative for MERS-CoV by two PCR tests, and 8 of the 11 cases were transferred from negative-pressure isolation rooms to general wards for ongoing treatment.
Currently, the states of 9 cases are stable and those of 3 cases are unstable.

* The only person under quarantine, a healthcare worker, was released as of 12 a.m. on July 27. Thus, all of the quarantined individuals linked to the index case confirmed on May 20 were released. The last person, in fact, was not exposed to any confirmed case, but had been placed in home quarantine for continued monitoring because of fever symptoms.
** Since July 1, those returning from the Middle East have been separately managed. A total of 36 have been quarantined, and 21 of them have been released. Currently, 15 are under quarantine.
