* No additional confirmed cases have been reported for 32 straight days since July 4.
** #172 (Female, 61) was discharged from hospital after being treated in a general ward and will be under active monitoring for one week by the local health center in her area of residence.
*** 10 out of the 11 cases under treatment have tested negative for MERS-CoV by two PCR tests, and all of the 10 cases were transferred from negative-pressure isolation rooms to general wards for ongoing treatment.
Currently, 8 cases are in a stable condition while 3 are unstable. The 3 unstable cases are relying on devices such as an artificial respirator or ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) for the maintenance of oxygen saturation.

* Among travelers from the Middle East, 2 suspected cases showed symptoms and were put under quarantine. 10 people who came in contact with them are currently under active monitoring.
a) A 48-year old female who returned from Qatar on July 27 was put under quarantine at hospital on August 5 and took the first PCR test. The test result came out negative on August 5 and she will take the 2nd test on August 7.
b) A 33-year old male who returned from UAE on August 5 was put under quarantine at hospital on the same day and took the first PCR test. The test result came out negative on August 6 and he will take the 2nd test on August 7.
