* No additional confirmed cases have been reported for 31 straight days since July 4.
** 11 out of the 12 cases under treatment have tested negative for MERS-CoV by two PCR tests, and all of the 11 cases were transferred from negative-pressure isolation rooms to general wards for ongoing treatment.
Currently, 9 cases are in a stable condition while 3 are unstable. The 3 unstable cases are relying on devices such as an artificial respirator or ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) for the maintenance of oxygen saturation.
*** #172 (Female, 61) has been treated in a general ward and will be discharged today.

* Of travelers from the Middle East, 2 suspected cases were discovered on August 2, however, they all tested negative for MERS-CoV. As of August 5, 6:00 A.M., there is neither a suspected case nor a quarantined individual at home among people with a history of travelling to the Middle East.
