* No additional confirmed cases have been reported for 34 straight days since July 4.
** 9 out of the 10 confirmed cases under treatment tested negative for MERS-CoV and are being treated in general wards.
Currently, 7 cases are in a stable condition while 3 are unstable. The 3 unstable cases are relying on devices such as an artificial respirator or ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) for the maintenance of oxygen saturation.
¨ From next week, Quarantine status of suspected cases among travelers from the Middle East & contacts linked to them will be updated on a weekly basis.
* Among travelers from the Middle East, 4 suspected cases are under quarantine, and 35 contacts are under active monitoring.
