Korea-Mongolia Health MOU Revised After 15 Years, Expanding Cooperation in Training and Cancer Research
- Health and Medical Cooperation MOU revised and signed on the occasion of the Korea-Mongolia summit
- Two sides agree to strengthen public-private cooperation through cancer research and control and through visits to Korean medical institutions operating in Mongolia
Minister of Health and Welfare Jeong Eun Kyeong is visiting Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, from Wednesday, July 8, to Friday, July 10. During the visit, Minister Jeong met with Mongolia’s Minister of Health Enkhbayar Batshugar and signed a revised memorandum of understanding (MOU) on health cooperation between the two countries. She is also scheduled to attend the Korea-Mongolia National Cancer Control Seminar and meet with healthcare professionals at Korean medical institutions and pharmaceutical and biotech companies operating in Mongolia to offer encouragement for their work.
