MOHW Minister Visits Asan to Review Heatwave Protection Measures for Vulnerable Groups

The Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW, Minister Jeong Eun Kyeong) visited Asan, Chungcheongnam-do, on August 3 at 3:00 p.m. to review the implementation of the government's summer protection measures for vulnerable groups. During the visit, Minister Jeong inspected a drone-assisted heatwave monitoring operation designed to identify people working outdoors in fields and provide them with heat safety guidance. She also visited Guryeong 1-ri Senior Center, which is operating as a cooling shelter, to assess air-conditioning and meal support for older adults and hear feedback from local residents and frontline workers.
